I‘m all about the food in South Korea, as you can tell from my School Lunch Project ;). (That was a joke)… but after yesterday, I thought I’d give you the highlights on what kind of food is actually delicious. There’s so much to explore and (most of it) will make your taste buds explode with joy. I’ll save the talking for this post, and let you bask in the street food excellence Lauren and I experienced at the Suseong Lake festival this week. Nom nom nom.
Be warned, some things may not look as delicious as they are.
Bites of sweet potato goodness!
Delicious yellow corn:
Pine nuts roasting on an open flame:
Blood sausage filled with vegetables and noodles. I swear it tastes so good!
I’m not really sure what this is… but it looked colorful and juicy:
Pork and hot dog skewers:
Muscles waiting to be devoured:
Squid; thank goodness it wasn’t alive!
The best corn dogs I’ve ever tasted. They’re covered in french fries, and then dipped in sugar and smothered with ketchup. Strange? yes. Delicious? YEAH!
Fried chicken in cups, a Korean street food staple:
What looks the most delicious?
